We are really pleased with it and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
White Knight Records
The Mighty Ra is delighted to announce that our debut album "All Secrets Known" will be released on White Knight Records.
I've (Andy) known Rob (Reed) for years having worked together on various prog-rock albums, including Ezra, Cyan and Fyreworks, so White Knight was the obvious choice for releasing the album and it's great to join some quality acts already on the label.
To promote the album we have been filming for the track "Nothing Comes Too Easy" with Rob as the "prog Spielberg" so we're looking forward to seeing the finished cut. Exciting times.

Prog for Peart
We are very excited to announce that we are on the lineup for Prog for Peart 2022. The two-day festival was set up to raise money for research into brain cancer following the passing of Neil Peart, the legendary drummer of Rush, who died from the illness in 2020.
We will bring you more news on the event as we get it.

We are now Mixing
We've started mixing the album and are expecting a release date early in 2022. We have a label arranged for release and will be shooting a promo video soon.
The album is to be titled..."All Secrets Known".
Finishing percussion in the studio.
Rob overdubbing some roto toms to finish the recording process. I finally realised why they are called roto toms when I saw Rob tuning them.....who knew...Next stage it's the mix.
Back at it.
We are back in the studio next week after some covid related isolation (everyone's fine), Let's get this album finished....
Galileo, Figaro - magnificoo
Rob at " The Piano " in Rockfield studios, working on one of Dave's new songs.
So much rock history has been recorded at these studios over the years.
Dave hard at work on the backing vocals, always great fun doing BVs, adds a certain lushness to the track if you know what I mean.
A heatwave certainly had us sweating getting those harmonies.
Thanks to Mel for the ice lollies.
As always Julian was there filming, so we should have plenty of footage and pics to share at some stage.
Top engineering as ever from Nick and contribution as the "angry dad" on "Ballad of The Dadz".
Well, the main vocals have been completed, the plan is now to move on to BVs, percussion, any fixes and fairy dust to make the album sound amazing.
Oh to be a full time rock star and have the time to work all week on the songs, but I've got to have a normal job to pay the bills.....
Massive thanks have to go to Nick Lloyd and Oakwood Church Studios for the continuing hard work going into this album, any prog bands wanting to record, this is the place to come, Nick will even wear a wizard's hat on request.
Keep checking in for more studio updates.
Studio update: The guitars are completed.
All the guitars are now recorded, sounding immense, really pleased with the sound, Nick sure worked some magic with his studio knowhow, great fun, it sure rocks. It's time for the vocals next........
It Might Get Loud
Yeah.....electric guitar time, "Bloody 'ell Vim, it's a Marshall"
Songs are really taking shape now, a great couple of days of tracklaying guitars. Still more to be done, but we are well on the way and it's sounding amazing.
All the acoustic guitars have now been recorded for the album and they sound great, fantastic engineering and nagging from Nick Lloyd at Oakwood Church Studios, he made sure guitarist Andy Edwards went through the pain barrier, Thanks to Julian Broome for getting the super glue for the fingertips. Quote of the day being: " can I have less nose in the mix"
Studio Week 2
Progrocks with Hammond through a Leslie cab. Rob giving it some classic prog pedigree this week, also recording Taurus pedals, the valley is rumbling.....
Album recording session week 1.
Bass and drums completed for our debut album "All Secrets Known". What a great week we've had at Oakwood Church Studios with Nick Lloyd. Top engineer and a great space to record, it's sounding amazing. Next week we continue with the Hammond organ and Taurus pedals. Rob Wilsher is bringing the Leslie cab along and we are expecting it to roar......
Studio Report Day 3
Hi all, day three in Oakwood Church Studios and the mighty Rob Griffiths has completed the drum tracks and they are sounding fantastic. Having lived with the demo tracks for lockdown the real drums have breathed new life into the songs. We start on the bass tomorrow....let there be rock.
We are excited to confirm that we start recording our debut album soon and are booked into Oakwood Church studios. We can't wait to get started having postponed the session a few times due to the covid lockdown.
